Spay and neuter surgeries

Performed at the Taylor Animal Shelter every week on Wednesday and Friday. Drop off occurs between 8-8:30 am. We will contact you when your pet is ready to go home, which is typically between 2 pm and 4 pm. All pets must be picked up by 4 pm.

All surgery prices include pain medication, and e-collar (dogs only) if needed. We recommend purchasing a "surgical onesie" for female cats.

Proof of rabies vaccination is required, or we can provide a rabies vaccine at the time of surgery.

Cats:

• Male: $100

• Female $125

• Extras:

  • Microchip: $5

  • FeLV/FIV test: $30

  • Rabies vaccine: $10

  • FVRCP vaccine: $15

  • FVRCP+FeLV vaccine: $25

Dogs:

• Under 50 lbs (male or female): $150

• 50-79 lbs (male or female): $175

• 80 lbs and up (male or female): $200

• Extras:

  • Microchip: $5

  • Heartworm test: $10

  • Rabies vaccine: $10

  • DHLP vaccine: $20

  • Bordetella vaccine: $15

ALL SURGERY PETS MUST BE DROPPED OFF BETWEEN 8-8:30 AM (the "appointment time" is just a place holder).

All cats must be in separate carriers.

SURGERIES ARE ONLY WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY

You will receive an email confirming your appointment and a form asking what other services you are interested in.
